Job Description:
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of ServiceNow ITOM solutions, including CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Orchestration.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable ITOM solutions.
Integrate cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP into ServiceNow ITOM to enhance operational efficiency.
Provide hands-on development and scripting expertise using JavaScript and Glide API for ServiceNow customizations.
Leverage integration technologies like REST, SOAP, MID Server, and Webhooks to build seamless connections between ServiceNow and third-party systems.
Implement and optimize ITIL-based processes for ITOM, ensuring best practices are followed in incident, problem, and change management.
Conduct solution assessments, process analyses, and provide guidance to client teams for ongoing improvements and scalability.
Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring alignment between business objectives and ITOM solutions.
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for post-implementation enhancements and optimizations.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience as a ServiceNow ITOM Architect or Consultant.
In-depth expertise in ServiceNow ITOM modules such as CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Orchestration.
Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and integrating them into ITOM processes.
Hands-on proficiency with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API) for custom development.
Knowledge of integration technologies, including REST, SOAP, MID Server, and Webhooks.
Solid understanding of ITIL, ITSM, and Change Management processes.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – ITOM (Preferred).
Day in the Life of an ITOM Architect
Your day begins by reviewing ongoing ITOM projects and aligning them with business and IT strategies. You lead the design and architecture of ServiceNow ITOM solutions, focusing on best practices and governance. Throughout the day, you configure and deploy key ITOM modules like CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Cloud Management. You also integrate ITOM with other ServiceNow modules and third-party tools, ensuring seamless monitoring and automation. You work on developing automation workflows to boost operational efficiency and optimize processes for improved visibility and incident resolution. Additionally, you drive the ITOM roadmap, suggesting new features and enhancements, while ensuring that all implementations align with ITIL best practices and compliance standards. Your day ends with discussions on upcoming initiatives and ensuring all systems are performing as expected.
