To excel in this role, you should possess the following:
Job Description:
- Deliver technical training sessions on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), server administration (Windows/Linux), and networking to both internal teams and external clients.
Develop and update training materials, including lab exercises, presentations, and documentation, to ensure content is current and relevant.
Explain complex technical concepts clearly, ensuring trainees understand and can apply the knowledge effectively.
Train individuals or groups on using cloud technologies and server/network administration in real-world scenarios.
Assess and evaluate trainee progress, providing constructive feedback and ongoing support.
Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements to continuously improve training content and delivery methods.
Collaborate with team members to create a positive learning environment and ensure training goals are met.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in technical training, particularly in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), server administration (Windows/Linux), and networking.
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms and hands-on experience with server administration (Windows/Linux) and networking technologies.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
Experience in creating, updating, and maintaining technical training materials and lab exercises.
Relevant certifications in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), CompTIA, or Linux are a plus.
Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated with the latest technologies.
A collaborative team player who works well with others in a dynamic environment.
Day in the Life of a Technical Trainer
Your day starts by reviewing the training schedule and preparing for the upcoming sessions, ensuring all materials are up to date. You deliver engaging training on cloud platforms, server administration, or networking, either in-person or online, while providing hands-on guidance during labs and practical exercises. Throughout the day, you answer learner questions, update training content to reflect the latest technology trends, and collaborate with other trainers to improve course delivery. You attend team meetings to discuss feedback, track progress, and plan future sessions. You wrap up your day by reviewing session feedback, addressing any follow-up questions, and planning for the next training session.
