Job Description:
- Conduct interviews, workshops, and document analysis to gather comprehensive business requirements.
- Develop user stories, functional specifications (FSD), and business requirement documents (BRD) to ensure clear and detailed documentation of client needs.
- Own relationships with project stakeholders to gather, prioritize, and document requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Act as a bridge between stakeholders and the technical team to ensure that business requirements are clearly understood and met during development.
- Work closely with platform, QA, and implementation teams to ensure smooth project execution and early identification of potential issues.
- Assist in release estimation, enforce project deadlines, and ensure timely delivery of solutions.
- Conduct customer demos, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and provide post-implementation support to drive adoption.
- Play a key role in driving ServiceNow implementations, facilitating organizational transformation through technology.
- Coach and mentor junior team members on best practices in business analysis, ensuring continuous improvement and growth within the team.
- Provide expert guidance and assess client needs to define appropriate solutions during consultancy engagements.
Qualifications:
- Over 5 years of experience in IT, preferably with a technology-focused background. Previous experience as a business analyst in software development projects is highly desirable.
- Strong in-depth knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, with hands-on experience implementing at least one of its products, such as ITSM, ITAM, ITBM, GRC, ITOM, PPM, or the App Engine.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and technical information clearly to stakeholders.
- Strong analytical reasoning abilities to gather, document, and understand complex business requirements.
- Ability to identify issues early, collaborate with technical teams to resolve them, and ensure smooth delivery.
- A focus on customer satisfaction, engagement, and driving adoption of solutions post-implementation.
Day in the Life of a ServiceNow Business Analyst
As a ServiceNow Business Analyst at Input Zero Technologies, you’ll gather requirements, document user stories, and collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to ensure seamless project delivery. You’ll act as a liaison, resolve issues early, and support UAT and customer adoption. Mentoring junior team members and driving continuous growth will also be key parts of your role.
