Job Description:
- Manage, configure, and optimize BMC Helix Operations Management to ensure seamless operation and improved performance.
- Leverage TrueSight Operations Management (TSOM) and TrueSight Capacity Optimization (TSCO) for effective capacity management and performance optimization.
- Utilize BPPM (BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management), BMC Patrol, and other BMC monitoring tools to monitor IT environments and ensure system reliability.
- Implement and maintain network monitoring solutions such as Entuity, ensuring visibility and proactive management of network performance.
- Troubleshoot, configure, and optimize BMC Helix and TrueSight systems, ensuring high availability, stability, and performance.
- Integrate BMC solutions with other enterprise ITOM (IT Operations Management) and ITSM (IT Service Management) platforms using APIs and automation scripts to enhance operational efficiency.
- Perform incident management, root cause analysis, and resolution to maintain system uptime and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide guidance, support, and training to end-users.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, workflows, and operational processes.
- Apply ITIL principles to ensure the alignment of operational management with industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in BMC Helix Operations Management with hands-on experience optimizing workflows within the platform.
- Proficiency in TrueSight Operations Management (TSOM) and TrueSight Capacity Optimization (TSCO), including experience in configuring and managing capacity optimization resources.
- Familiarity with BPPM, BMC Patrol, and other BMC monitoring tools to ensure effective monitoring across IT environments.
- Experience with Entuity and other network monitoring solutions to provide end-to-end visibility of network performance.
- In-depth knowledge of the Helix and TrueSight architecture, with the ability to troubleshoot, configure, and optimize these systems for optimal performance.
- Proven experience integrating BMC solutions with ITOM and ITSM platforms using APIs, automation scripts, and other integration techniques.
- Solid understanding of ITIL principles and processes, ensuring adherence to best practices in operational management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and provide support to end-users.
- Strong analytical skills for incident management, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.
- ITIL certification or similar industry-standard qualifications.
- Experience working in a cloud environment or with cloud-based monitoring solutions.
- Experience with scripting or automation languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).

Your morning is spent optimizing workflows within BMC Helix Ops Management (BHOM), ensuring seamless integration with monitoring tools like BPPM and Patrol. By midday, you collaborate with cross-functional teams to address capacity planning needs, leveraging your skills in True Sight Capacity Optimization (TSCO) to assess resource utilization and forecast future demands. In the afternoon, you conduct a series of troubleshooting sessions to resolve any performance issues, working closely with the Entuity monitoring system to ensure network performance is up to par. You also document processes and best practices, creating user guides for team members to streamline operations. As the day winds down, you prepare a report on system performance and optimization efforts to share with management, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed of the operational landscape. Your role combines proactive monitoring, strategic planning, and collaborative problem-solving, making each day dynamic and critical in maintaining high operational standards at IZT.
