Job Description:
- Drive the sales of cloud and service management solutions, with a focus on platforms like ServiceNow and Automation Anywhere, to new and existing clients.
Build and maintain trusted relationships with C-Level executives, understanding their business needs and offering tailored solutions.
Focus on generating new business opportunities, including market expansion and securing new contracts, while managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
Leverage industry knowledge to provide deep insights and solutions across various sectors, including Telecom, Financial Services, and Government.
Lead negotiations for complex deals, ensuring customer satisfaction while meeting sales goals.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless transition from sales to customer success and implementation.
Demonstrate leadership and initiative, guiding teams and projects independently while maintaining a strong customer success focus.
Willingness to travel to client locations and events to maintain relationships and drive sales success.
Qualifications:
- Over 10 years of experience in software/solutions sales, specifically within Cloud and Service Management solutions (e.g., ServiceNow, Automation Anywhere).
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with C-Level executives, fostering collaboration and creating opportunities for strategic partnerships.
Strong experience working in industries such as Telecom, Financial Services, and Government sectors.
Demonstrated success in generating new business, negotiating deals, and expanding market share.
Excellent leadership skills with a self-driven, proactive attitude towards sales and team management.
Ability to adapt to a collaborative team environment and focus on customer success while maintaining individual sales targets.
Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
Day in the Life of a BDM North America
Your day starts by reviewing sales pipelines and planning strategic outreach to potential clients in key sectors like Telecom, Financial Services, and Government. You engage with C-Level executives to understand their business challenges and position cloud or service management solutions like ServiceNow or Automation Anywhere as the answer. Midday often involves negotiating deals, aligning with internal teams, and collaborating on proposals or presentations. You may attend virtual meetings or travel to client sites to strengthen partnerships and drive new business. Between calls, you mentor team members and review progress toward sales targets. The day ends with reporting outcomes, planning next steps, and strategizing for market expansion—all while staying focused on customer success and relationship-building.
