Job Description:
- Design and Develop RPA Solutions: Utilize UiPath to design, develop, and implement RPA solutions that automate repetitive business processes efficiently.
- Business Process Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, identifying suitable processes for automation.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical and functional documentation for all developed automations, ensuring they are clear, comprehensive, and usable for future reference.
- Testing and Debugging: Perform unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) on RPA solutions. Diagnose and resolve issues in existing automations as needed.
- Production Deployment & Monitoring: Deploy RPA bots into production environments and actively monitor their performance. Provide efficient support and incident management for any RPA-related issues.
- Continuous Improvement: Apply a continuous improvement mindset to analyze, optimize, and refine automated processes, ensuring they are efficient, scalable, and reliable.
- Governance and Best Practices: Adhere to the company’s RPA governance framework and UiPath best practices, ensuring consistency and quality in automation efforts.
- Process Mapping: Contribute to business process mapping to identify areas suitable for automation and support overall operational efficiency.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Work closely with various departments to ensure the smooth integration of automation solutions across the organization.
Qualification:
- Proven experience (2-4 years) in developing RPA solutions using UiPath Studio and Orchestrator.
- Proficiency in UiPath scripting (VBA, Python) and experience with custom activities and .NET.
- Knowledge of SQL queries, relational databases, and web services (REST/SOAP) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of RPA frameworks, best practices, and governance.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development methodologies is advantageous.
- Ability to map and analyze business processes to identify areas for automation.
- Strong collaboration skills, with experience gathering and analyzing business requirements from stakeholders.
- Ability to create and maintain clear technical and functional documentation.
- Experience in testing RPA solutions, including debugging and resolving issues in existing automations.
- Ability to deploy and monitor RPA bots in production environments.
- UiPath certifications (e.g., UiPath RPA Developer Foundation or UiPath Advanced Developer) are highly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and process optimization.
Day in the Life of a UI Path
As an RPA UiPath Developer at IZT, your day kicks off with a review of the automation requests and prioritizing tasks based on business needs. After a brief team stand-up meeting to align on current projects, you dive into requirement analysis, collaborating with business stakeholders to gather insights and identify processes ripe for automation. By mid-morning, you transition to designing and developing RPA solutions using UiPath, leveraging your expertise in UiPath Studio and Orchestrator to create efficient bots that automate repetitive tasks. As you develop, you ensure to document every step meticulously, maintaining both technical and functional documentation for future reference. After lunch, you conduct thorough testing of your automations, performing unit tests and integration testing to ensure that everything works seamlessly. Debugging any issues that arise, you refine your solutions and prepare them for deployment. Once is ready, you deploy them into production environments, monitoring their performance and addressing any incidents or support requests that come up. Throughout the day, you engage in process optimization, continually analyzing the automated workflows for improvements in efficiency and reliability. Collaboration remains key, as you frequently touch base with both business and IT teams to ensure successful RPA deployment and adherence to governance standards.
